THE AUDUBON SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
In May 1963, Mrs. Robert D. Sterling, a member of the MGC and Chairman of the Monadnock Garden Club Nature Trail, made a generous donation to the National Audubon Society to set up a special endowment fund known as the Ruth Draper Scholarship Fund. The income of the fund annually provides two tuitions at an Audubon camp. It was further stipulated that the MGC of New Hampshire be designated to award the scholarships annually to recipients preferably from the state of New Hampshire. In addition, The MGC contributes annually to this fund.
